About

Mr Puri is an experienced ophthalmologist with a distinguished career spanning two decades, establishing himself as an expert in advanced cataract surgery. He specializes in high-volume cataract procedures with particular expertise in the implantation of premium and Toric intraocular lenses (IOLs), as well as a comprehensive range of advanced lens technologies including monofocal, Extended Monovision (EMV), and trifocal options.

His surgical proficiency enables him to provide tailored solutions for refractive lens exchange and complex cases requiring precise IOL selection.

Beyond his clinical practice, Mr Puri has made significant contributions to ophthalmological training and professional development. He has been actively involved in training initiatives for the past 20 years, progressing from College Tutor to Training Program Director for the East Midlands North region.

His leadership extends to the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, where he has served as a member of both the College Council and the Training Committee, shaping training standards and contributing to the professional development of future ophthalmologists.
