Andrew is an award winning cataract and glaucoma surgeon based in Edinburgh. He is a consultant with NHS Lothian and NHS Scotland National Lead for Eye Research. He is Past President of the UK and Eire Glaucoma Society and Visiting Professor at University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He was trained at two of the world’s leading eye hospitals: Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and Shiley Eye Institute, University of California, San Diego, USA and has over 20 years experience.
He was awarded the highest score in Europe in his board examination and is one of a select group of surgeons to be awarded a Fellowship in Cataract and Refractive Surgery qualification from the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also one of the few ophthalmologists in Scotland to hold a Laser Refractive Surgery qualification from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. Andrew performs over 400 cataract operations per year and is one of the most experienced glaucoma surgeons in Scotland.
He leads ophthalmology clinical research in Scotland and recently received a prestigious NIHR Senior Investigator Award.
Andrew lives in Edinburgh with his wife and 3 daughters. In his spare time he volunteers as a qualified assessor for the British Paralympic Association.

Continue west on the A8, passing Haymarket
Join the A720 Edinburgh City Bypass westbound
Take the exit for South Gyle
Follow signs for South Gyle Crescent
Turn onto South Gyle Crescent
Continue until you reach The Stones Business Park
Enter the business park and follow signs for Cornerstone
Arrive at Clarity Edinburgh.

Stay on the bus towards the South Gyle area and alight at the nearest stop on South Gyle Crescent. Walk approximately 5 minutes towards The Stones Business Park and enter. From there, follow signs to Cornerstone until you see Clarity.

Take a train towards South Gyle Station
Travel to South Gyle Station
Exit the station and head south towards South Gyle Crescent
Walk along South Gyle Crescent for approximately 10 minutes
