Tafadzwa Young-Zvandasara is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in cataract surgery in the North East of England.
Mr Young performs both routine and complex cataract surgery, including the management of surgical complications. He completed advanced Fellowship training in New Zealand, gaining extensive experience in sophisticated surgical techniques.
He holds a medical degree from the University of Dundee and a Masters in Engineering from Cardiff University (with Distinction). This engineering background informs his approach to precision surgical techniques and innovative solutions.
Mr Young is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and maintains an active role in ophthalmic education as a visiting lecturer at Newcastle University. He has published extensively and presented at international conferences.
Outside of his clinical practice, Mr Young enjoys playing tennis, travelling, learning guitar and spending time with his family.
