About
Mr Andy Morris is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with extensive experience in cataract and vitreoretinal surgery. His first exposure to ophthalmic surgery came in 1984, assisting on an Eye Safari in East Africa alongside leading surgeons Geoff Bisley and Keith Wadell.
He studied medicine in London, obtaining a First Class Honours BSc in 1989 followed by his MBBS in 1990. He went on to complete specialist training in vitreoretinal and cataract surgery through fellowships at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in the UK and in Vancouver, British Columbia.
In April 2002, Mr Morris was appointed Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Royal Bournemouth Hospital. He is highly experienced in cataract surgery and continues to provide expert, patient‑focused care supported by years of clinical practice.
