About

Mr Graeme Rogers is an experienced consultant ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon with specialist expertise in glaucoma management and medical retina. Based at Dublin Ophthalmic, he combines advanced surgical skills with a patient-centred philosophy to deliver exceptional outcomes across his areas of practice. 

Mr Rogers completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Cape Town, one of Africa’s leading medical institutions. He subsequently undertook comprehensive specialist training in ophthalmology, developing particular proficiency in anterior and posterior segment surgery.  

His clinical background encompasses extensive experience in both NHS and private practice settings, allowing him to draw on diverse approaches to patient care and surgical technique. Mr Rogers is recognised for his collaborative, patient-centred approach.  

He takes time to understand each patient’s specific concerns, visual goals, and lifestyle requirements. He believes in clear communication, thoroughly explaining clinical findings, discussing all available treatment options, and working together with patients to develop individualised care plans aligned with their long-term visual health objectives. 

This partnership approach ensures patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their treatment  decisions.
