About
Mr. Mohamed Shahin left his home at the age of 17 to pursue his dream of becoming an ophthalmologist in Spain. He went on to earn a Master’s degree at the prestigious Barraquer Ophthalmology Centre in Barcelona, where he trained extensively in retina disorders. After several years of practice in Spain, he sought to broaden his international experience before settling in the UK in 2013.
Since then, Mr. Shahin has worked as a consultant ophthalmologist with SpaMedica for more than seven years. Over the course of his career, he has performed more than 14,000 cataract surgeries, consistently delivering excellent outcomes and earning a reputation for his surgical expertise and patient care.
