We are a dedicated group of ophthalmologists united by a shared commitment to delivering the highest standard of eye care. Through continuous auditing and reflective practice, we ensure that our care consistently meets the highest standards of safety and excellence.

Our team brings many years of training and clinical experience within the UK, and we are proud to be recognised by both patients and colleagues for our expertise across a wide range of ophthalmic subspecialties. These include eye trauma and emergency care, retinal conditions such as macular degeneration and retinal detachment, diabetic eye disease, and advanced refractive surgery. Together, we provide comprehensive, patient-centred care tailored to each individual’s need.

About

Mr Riaz Asaria is known for his friendly, approachable, and down-to-earth manner, and he always aims to help patients feel comfortable and at ease from their very first consultation. Mr Asaria believes that clear communication is essential, and he takes the time to listen carefully and explain things in a simple, reassuring way so that patients feel confident and supported throughout their care.

Outside of his clinical work, Mr Asaria has a strong passion for teaching, research, and improving eye care both in the UK and internationally. His humanitarian work has taken him to challenging environments, which he finds incredibly humbling and rewarding, and it continues to shape the way he practises medicine.

Mr Asaria takes pride in maintaining a calm, focused approach, and he hopes that his positive and light-hearted nature helps create a relaxed and supportive experience for both patients and colleagues.
