The Sloane Hospital’s Ophthalmology services provide comprehensive eye care tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs. Our experienced Consultant Ophthalmologists specialise in treating a wide range of eye conditions—from cataracts and glaucoma to dry eyes, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration—ensuring patients receive expert diagnosis and management.

About

Ms Pelosini was appointed Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at East Surrey Hospital in 2013 where she was the Lead Clinician and Audit Lead from 2014 to 2018. She was appointed at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2018 and she is leading the Cornea, Anterior Segment and Emergency Eye Service at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup.

Her vision is to provide my patients with warm and personalised guidance through their cataract surgery journey from start to finish. She runs a highly individualised service to treat discerning patients with presbyopia (aging eyes) and cataracts who want the best treatment and technology available. Ms Pelosini enjoys skiing in the winter; she is a keen gardener and plays tennis regularly.

She enjoys classical music and attends the theatre and opera productions regularly. An Italian cooking enthusiast, she also plays piano in her free time.
